About Patricia

Set in a fictitious Colorado town, the series has an Old West setting. A WORTH TO BEHOLD, A PLACE FOR HER HEART, HONOR'S REWARD and WISDOM'S PRIZE are the other books in the series. Patti was an award-winning copywriter before turning to fiction. She lives in Colorado with her husband of 30 years. She has two children and two grandsons. Patti has served on the Board of Directors for the Orange County, California chapter of Romance Writers of America, is a Charter member of Heart of Denver Romance Writers, served two terms as Vice-president and two terms as President of Heart of Denver Romance Writers, and is a member of Colorado Romance Writers, RWA's Faith, Hope & Love Outreach Chapter, and the Christian Fiction Writers of America. Patti tries to address modern day issues in her work even though they are set in a historical time period. She has been noted for tackling the issues of trust, betrayal and domestic violence, among others. She wants women to gain strength and perspective from her stories. She is also active in community outreach, teaches a women's study of the Bible at a local jail, and enjoys golfing, boating, walking, jazz, family and friends.
